even if you think it is all over, nothing is over yet. let me tell you a story.
when i was at high school, i experienced some kind of heartbreak (still not sure if it was an heartbreak,
i am very difficult to understand even to myself). oh man, i suffered quite a lot. it took a lot more than
you would think to recover, even though i was not alone. i could not eat, i could not sleep, i barely
enjoyed life those times. everything, literally everything reminded me of her. i quite can't remember how
long did it take to get over it (4-5 months???) but i remember it was difficult. i was sure that life wouldn't
be the same anymore. but i kept on going somehow. even though i don't remember how long did it last, i remember
how i got out of it. lo recuerdo muy bien...
as you can understand from the website design, i love the 80's neon theme. the miami heat basketball team at the time,
used this color scheme on their homecourt and jerseys. so i am a big fan of them since then. i used to follow the games
back then, setting alarms to watch regular season matches, something i haven't even done once at my time in bilkent.
the team was not doing great back then as they finished the season with 39-43 record as 10th and missed the
playoffs. it was also dwyane's last season, his last dance deserved to take part in playoffs also, but i ain't
that sad about it because we witnessed a miracle. i was having difficulty falling asleep from overthinking, but
i needed the sleep quite a lot that day. miami was playing against golden state (was the championship favourites at the time
even though they lost it in the finals). and surprisingly, miami was demolishing golden state by 30 points. the
golden state warriors did not give up, and they sent three pointers one after another and managed to reduce the deficit.
meanwhile, i still couldn't fall asleep so i regularly checked the score. when i saw miami trailing by on with 13 seconds
left on the clock, i decided to watch the final position. and i said to myself, "if miami wins this one, i don't care about
it (the heartbreak) any longer". dwyane almost got blocked at his first try but he went onto beat the buzzer with a circus shot.
i couldn't believe my eyes. felt like even the god was rooting for me at that point. i recovered shortly after.
long story short, every problem has it's own dwyane wade to help you overcome and forget about it
for once and all. but do not try to summon your wade yourself, he will appear when god decides you have suffered
enough.
"in his final game against the golden state warriors, dwyane wade beats the warriors."
